Eric Byrd is a Nationally Certified (NCBTMB) and Kentucky State Licensed Massage Therapist (KY#2031). Although becoming a massage therapist for only a short two years, his experience and understanding of the needs of his clients, listening to their health concerns and being Divinely called to truly help others is based on years of personal experiences. Eric is a graduate and alum of the Lexington Healing Arts Academy graduating from the night class in the fall of 2006. He has taken great strides in expanding his knowledge of CranialSacral Therapy studying with The Upledger Institute and Visceral Massage Therapy under the direction of The Barral Institute. He is also very competent in Hot Stone therapy and enjoys providing aroma therapy to his clients when requested. Eric is a member of the American Bodywork and Massage Professionals Association (#915468) and is in excellent standings with the Bluegrass chapter of the Better Business Bureau. Eric is married to Janet and has two grown children.
While finishing the educational and practical components of massage therapy training, Eric was completing his tenure as an Environmental Consultant with the Kentucky Business Environmental Assistance Program (KBEAP). His specialty was in air quality assistance and developing environmental educational tools for colleges and universities, various industry sectors, and general audiences in the Commonwealth. Eric has over 20 years of industrial experience with a broad background including residential construction, commercial diving, printing, aerospace procurement, cabinetry, and mining reclamation.
Eric holds a Master’s of Science and a Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Forestry from the University of Kentucky with emphasis in Forest Hydrology Management and Sediment Production from Mining Soils. He earned a graduate certificate in Environmental Systems from the University of Kentucky and has an Associate of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. Eric is a Member of the Gamma Sigma Delta Agriculture Honor Society and the Golden Key National Honor Society. He is a certified Kentucky Master Logger and an Advanced Open Water Diver. He holds the rank of black belt in Shorin-Do Kempo.

Wendy Walker is a Kentucky Licensed and Nationally Certified member of the massage community and has been in practice since 2005. Although from a small town in Kentucky, Wendy traveled to Phoenix, AZ to pursue her massage therapy certification, which provided over 815 hours of in-depth, specific training on many types of massage. Her first work experience came from the Miiamo spa at the Enchantment Resort in Sedona, AZ, which was ranked by Travel and Leisure magazine as the best destination spa in the world (2007). She has also worked at the Nob Hill Spa in San Francisco, CA and is now in Kentucky at a Touch of Paradise.
Wendy is an excellent therapist with years of experience in bodywork. Whether it is a relaxing, classic Swedish massage or a session more focused on relieving pain with deeper work, Wendy can facilitate your needs.
